We have big news to share with the Ceramic community. Our parent company, 3Box Labs, is merging with Textile, the creators of Tableland DB and Basin Network. This is not just a merger, but the next step toward solving one of the most pressing challenges in AI today.
Together, we are building the intelligence layer for AI agents. The goal is to create an open network where agents can share, buy, and sell valuable intelligence on demand. Today, knowledge bases, memory banks, and reasoning traces remain siloed and difficult to access. By bringing together the experience of 3Box Labs and Textile in decentralized data infrastructure, we are creating a permissionless marketplace where AI agents can access and monetize intelligence more easily.
What This Means for Ceramic
For those using Ceramic today, nothing is changing. Ceramic will continue to function as expected. As part of the expanded Textile ecosystem, Ceramic will play an important role in the infrastructure supporting AI agents.
Over time, we will introduce new tooling and integrations that make Ceramic even more powerful. Our commitment to supporting the community remains as strong as ever, and we will continue to provide resources and guidance as we move forward together.
