Looking for docs/diagrams on how Ceramic Anchor Service works so I can contribute a tutorial to teach devs how to verify/test anchor commits are working as expected

For example, if I update a ceramic document, how does one verify programmatically? If I have DID, how does one verify on Ethererum blockchain the corresponding anchor commit? How does one see the transaction on Etherscan?
