Provider bans node IP after running

Hi Everyone.

I have a question. This has happened to me couple of times. When I purchase cloud server and run ceramic nodes on it, sometimes the provider bans my server’s IP address stating “Due to high traffic and usage of resources and constantly IP looking via server”.

I have also purchased dedicated server and happened again as well. Any tips or comments about this?

Hey @rezashams. Which cloud provider are you using?

Hi @Justina . The provider is Hetzner.

My guess is the provider is noticing that it’s doing p2p networking and peer discovery. Does Hetzner have any experience running IPFS nodes? All the p2p traffic will be coming from ipfs/kubo, not Ceramic itself, so that is likely where the issue lies.
